Well, the final road race of the year is over. And I don't know what I'm going to do for 6 months. I hear skiing is fun. And it's just as dangerous as racing.
Saturday was delayed due to, surprise surprise, rain. When we finally got out for the race I grenaded my motor after 2 laps. Damn carburetors. But we had 2 spare engines, so we bolted the best one on and waited for Sunday.
Never have I been so fast in the kart before.
I was running so fast I was passing 125cc TAG karts through the video. Granted they are in a different class, but they should still be slightly faster than me. Video is below.
I used a different mount for this one (on my chin) and I'd say it turned out very good. Yes the frontal view is blocked somewhat, but you get a good idea of what's going on. Had a small incident at 12:25.
Now really, what the hell am I going to do for the next 6 months?

Summit Main is one of my favorite tracks, although I haven't been on the extended version of the Jefferson circuit yet so that may change.
Looks like you're doing about a 1:30 lap time? That's definitely a good pace. Looks like a lot of fun!

Thanks, my best lap was a 1:32.4 set during that race. The Stock Hondas (shifter karts) run lap times in the 1:22s. And last year a 250 Superkart came out and set the record at 1:12.2. So there's plenty of others still faster, I'll hopefully be in a Stock Honda next year also. And fun is an understatement, it's the best shit in the world haha.
